In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the LPS department to ensure the successful implementation of the Global Laboratory or Pre-Analytical Services strategy, structures, processes, and metrics to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Workload/Capacity Management: Review daily and future workload requirements to determine daily resource needs; create daily production schedules; monitor and track overall work activity and make adjustments; ensure normal and overtime costs align with goals. Performance Metrics: Assist management in developing and implementing global processes and procedures; participate in specimen management or LPS tasks related to strategy, planning, budgeting; ensure new processes are developed and monitored; track, monitor, and report metrics in agreed timelines. Process Excellence: Propose innovative ideas to improve processes; lead local PEx and non-PEx projects. Customer Management: Identify, track, and resolve all service failures; take preventative action; monitor and manage customer complaints, issues, and concerns. Finance: Monitor expenses and communicate budget variances to management. Information Sharing and Adherence: Adhere to management communications, meetings, and procedures.
