The Position

At Roche, 94,000 employees in 100 countries are redefining the term Healthcare. At the Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing of F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, you will gain a unique insight into the production of chemical and biological active pharmaceutical ingredients for commercial and clinical supply. Our site consists of four production units (known as Value Streams) and five supporting units (known as Units), where a total of 750 employees focus on supplying patients with medications.

At the Basel Drug Substance, we produce in four Value Streams (Monoclonal Antibody (MAB), Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC), Single Use Technology (SUT), and Small Molecules (SM)). The four Value Streams are supported by Quality Assurance and five other Units (Process & Technology, Material Science & Support, Materials Management, Facilities Management & SHE, Business Operations).

Within Quality Assurance at the Basel Drug Substance, the chapter "Compliance, Systems & Training" plays a central role. It consists of three teams that together ensure the highest standards in compliance, system management, and training at the site. We are looking for motivated support for this chapter Exciting and challenging tasks in a dynamic production environment await you.

During the internship, your tasks will include:
  • Support in the preparation and follow-up of regulatory inspections and audits
  • Creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Optimization of quality risk analyses
  • Archiving and management of documents
  • Independent handling of projects
  • Communication and interaction with various internal interfaces
  • Planning, tracking, and documentation of training activities
  • Support in the creation, organization, and execution of training sessions

Requirements:
  • Enrollment at a university or technical college or a completed degree in a scientific or technical field, which should not be more than 12 months old

  • Due to regulations, citizens from outside the EU/EFTA must provide a document from their university (Mandatory Letter) confirming that this is a mandatory internship, along with proof of enrollment
