We are now looking for a professional who is able to take the position of HREX IS Solution Architect for Learning within the HREX Organization. Your role will be to design and build proposed technical solutions for the Learning and Development process area applications including PCS2, Learning Management System (LMS), GLINT applications and other solutions used in L&D area. Besides this, you will also provide holistic impact assessments across solutions. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting with designing and building proposed solutions across the technical applications listed above and/or providing holistic impact assessments across SaaS solutions.
- Considering impacts of proposed changes for other process areas and broader applications and conducting feasibility assessments on changes with the IS Business Analyst.
- Designing integrations and reviewing impacts to applications that may be impacted.
- Supporting with resolving high severity incidents or during specific system upgrades and developing policies, standards, and guidelines in the technology area of responsibility.
- Being accountable to approve, sign-off and build any solution to be implemented on ABB Production environment, within Learning and Development, keeping quality and safety in a controlled manner.
- Defining the technical IS solution and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units.
- Engaging in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted.
- Supporting validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with the relevant IS Service Owner and/or IS Lead Architect.
- Contributing to IS Problem and IS Incident Management to reduce ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these.
- Proactively supporting issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service.
- Collaborating with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop and deploy the best feasible and most cost efficient IS solutions/services for the business.
- Collaborating with other teams and functions to improve, define, maintain and optimize building processes and standards.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IS area.
- Impact Assessment, Feasibility Analysis, Architectural Compliance, Incident Resolution.
- Expertise in PCS2, LMS, GLINT, and other learning-related platforms.
- Software Design, IS Process Modeling, Advanced SQL, .NET.
- Leadership in Implementation, Analytical Skills, Agile, ITIL 4.
- Project & Product Management, Technical Strategy, Change Implementation.
- Stakeholder Management, User Experience Analysis.
