ENGINEERING & TRAINING SYSTEMS SAFETY AND RISK

Your place of work: Stans, Switzerland

Your Tasks

  1. Responsible for safety assessments for Avionics or Mechanical Systems on all Pilatus aircraft types and presentation to the Airworthiness Authorities
  2. Definition, validation and verification of system, software and hardware safety requirements
  3. Execute risk assessments to support continued airworthiness
  4. Building safety classification of engineering changes

With this you convince us

  1. University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Systems Engineering
  2. At least 5 years of experience in performing Safety Assessments in accordance with SAE ARP 4761: Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA) incl. Fault Tree Analysis, Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
  3. Practical experience of using SAE ARP 4754A for the development of civil aircraft and systems
  4. Both rigor in the analysis and ability to reach consensus with multiple stakeholders while maintaining compliance to the safety requirements
  5. Great abilities for teamwork and communication with both internal and external customers
  6. Fluency in English (at least C1), German would be an advantage
