On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dedicated Import & Export Sub-Chapter (m/f/d) - 100% The Import & Export Sub-Chapter, as part of the Instrument Operations Network, is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing goods at the site. In addition, the team ensures compliance with national and international laws, as well as regulatory and internal compliance requirements. The team also supports internal departments with all matters related to import, export, customs, transportation, and international trade. The ideal candidate has a commercial background, at least 2–3 years of experience in import/export operations, and is used to working independently. Further education in international trade is preferred. Good German and English skills are required. Tasks & Responsibilities Coordinate and ensure proper delivery of goods through selected freight forwarders Organize and monitor national and international transports Check accompanying documents and certificates of origin for shipment registrations Record and prepare import shipment files according to internal instructions Prepare, submit, and correct import and transit customs declarations, including cancellations in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS/E4H) Accompany and support customs inspections (physical checks) by customs authorities Process and issue customs clearance and forwarding instructions to third-party freight forwarders Communicate and correspond with customs authorities, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments Provide support and clarifications on transport and customs issues at the Rotkreuz site Monitor Roche customs accounts (ZAZ) and import declarations by third-party freight forwarders Ensure retrieval of electronic assessment decisions (eVV) for imports Coordinate transport damage cases with internal departments and external partners Process Responsibilities Apply, troubleshoot, and take operational responsibility for foreign trade processes within the transfer project Take initiative and contribute to process improvements and Must Haves Commercial education and further training in international trade or a similar field At least 2–3 years of experience and solid knowledge in import/export operations and forwarding business (***** ) In-depth knowledge of customs procedures in Switzerland (***** ) Flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoys teamwork (***** ) Communicative, responsible, independent, and resilient personality (***** ) Good computer skills (MS Office, Google) Good command of German and English, both written and spoken Nice to Haves Expertise in SAP modules SD / TM / GTS #J-18808-Ljbffr
