Opportunity for an experienced Production Controller / Site Controller to assume ownership of Controlling responsibilities for a major Swiss production facility, the flagship assembly site of a global manufacturer of high precision machinery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting and rolling forecast process for the Swiss production site.
  • Analyze and report KPIs, providing insights and defining corrective measures.
  • Support monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct cost analyses (production, materials, variances) and oversee costing runs (actual vs. planned).
  • Manage monthly inventory reporting and obsolescence calculations.
  • Oversee standard cost calculations, including hourly rates and surcharges.
  • Provide investment controlling, supporting and validating investment projects.
  • Track and assess continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a financial business partner to the Site Manager and leadership team.
  • Support the implementation and refinement of the new ERP system (Microsoft D365).

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Controlling, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations controlling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive and responsible approach.
  • Experience in cost accounting, pricing, and production KPIs.
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially with production management and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Power BI is a plus.
  • Fluency in German.
