Join MDPI’s Legal & Compliance team as a working student and help us handle data protection and regulatory compliance, while gaining hands‑on legal experience alongside your studies.
As part of our commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment, this role requires working fully on-site.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support daily operations with a primary focus on data protection and regulatory compliance
- Handle incoming data protection inquiries
- Liaise with other departments to retrieve and provide requested data within statutory timelines
- Help monitor and implement policies and procedures related to data protection
- Maintain our internal records
- Draft correspondence and standard legal documentation
- Assist in preparing and updating standard legal templates
- Prepare clear, well‑structured emails, routine legal responses, and internal guidance
You will communicate primarily in English, our corporate language.
Requirements
- Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (C1); German (C1) is also required
- Technical Skills: Confident use of MS Office and digital tools for document management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
