To strengthen our Purchasing Team, we are currently looking for a:

JUNIOR BUYER – (ENG – FR)

A dynamic, ambitious, and proactive individual who, under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, will contribute to wine procurement activities, build relationships with suppliers and producers, and support purchasing and negotiation processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage commercial relationships with French wine suppliers and producers.
• Support negotiations on pricing, purchasing terms, and product availability.
• Monitor inventory requirements and contribute to procurement planning.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders through to the receipt of goods.
• Verify the quality, quantity, and delivery timelines of purchased products.
• Monitor market developments, competitors, trends, and new purchasing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain regular contact with existing and potential suppliers.
• Assist in preparing product-related information and documentation.
• Support the organization of events and activities involving producers and business partners.
• Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Team and other departments across the company.

YOUR PROFILE

• C2 level English proficiency.
• Good command of French;
• Higher education or equivalent professional experience in purchasing, sales, or a commercial environment.
• Previous experience in the wine industry is an advantage, but not essential.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills.
• Results-oriented approach and excellent business acumen.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Curiosity and a strong motivation to deepen your knowledge of the fine wine industry and international markets.

Above all, we are looking for someone with energy, initiative, and a genuine desire to grow, ready to take on responsibilities and progressively develop an in-depth understanding of the fine wine market.

The position may occasionally require flexibility beyond standard working hours or days; any additional hours worked will, of course, be duly compensated.
