Are you looking for high-visibility role within a global energy trading business, sitting directly in the CIO office?
This is not a traditional procurement position — it’s a commercially focused role with real ownership, influence, and exposure at senior level.
You’ll take full control of technology spend (software, IT services, market data) and play a key role in driving cost optimisation, vendor strategy, and procurement transformation across a fast-paced global environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end IT procurement across software, services, and market data
- Lead vendor and commercial negotiations, managing key supplier relationships
- Optimise technology spend, ensuring value, compliance, and scalability
- Manage software & market data licensing, including renewals and usage optimisation
- Partner with IT, Finance, and business leadership to support strategic decisions
- Drive reporting and spend insights, improving financial visibility and control
- Champion transformation, introducing automation, data, and AI-driven processes
- Promote a more strategic procurement culture across a fast-moving trading business
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in IT procurement, commercial management, or technology finance (3+years)
- Exposure to software licensing and/or market data (highly advantageous)
- Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on level
