Senior LPG Trader
We are currently working with an established international commodities trading business looking to hire a Senior LPG Trader as part of the continued development of its energy trading platform.
The successful individual will take responsibility for developing and managing a physical LPG trading book, with a focus on building profitable flows across international markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a profitable physical LPG trading book
- Originate new trading opportunities across suppliers, counterparties and end users
- Manage pricing, exposure, logistics and commercial risk across transactions
- Build and maintain relationships across producers, refiners, distributors and trading counterparties
- Identify new geographical and product opportunities within the LPG market
- Work closely with operations, finance, risk and shipping teams to ensure effective execution
Requirements
- Strong track record within physical LPG trading
- Established international network across LPG markets
- Demonstrable commercial performance and P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of freight, logistics, storage and physical supply chains
- Ability to originate and develop new business independently
- Comfortable operating within an entrepreneurial trading environment
