The United Nations Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is a partnership between the United Nations, Member States, and the civil society, which supports women led and women's rights organizations working to build peace and provide humanitarian response throughout the world. The Secretariat's mandate is also to manage the Global Learning Hub (L-HUB) which aims to strengthen WPHF civil society organization (CSO) partners' skills and abilities in a wide range of organizational development areas and programmatic issues through live capacity strengthening and peer learning webinars, peer learning small grants and opportunities, in person convenings and training resources on issues related to women, peace, security and humanitarian action (WPS-HA).
Under the supervision of WPHF Deputy Head of Secretariat and in collaboration with the L-HUB team, the L-HUB Knowledge Management intern will be responsible for providing project and research support to WPHF L-HUB initiatives targeting WPHF active and past CSO partners and additional CSOs working in conflict-affected settings. The L-HUB Knowledge Management intern will support the L-HUB's team to produce and disseminate knowledge products in different languages, to organize, manage and enrich the L-HUB digital library on WPS-HA issues and the L-HUB Facebook group and distribution list in addition to supporting the L-HUB's visibility among CSO partners, donors and wider audiences.
Description of Responsibilities
- Support the L-HUB team with the drafting of learning resources (peer exchange briefs, training tip sheets etc.).
- Assist the L-HUB team in the preparation, coordination, management and dissemination of L-HUB online and in-person events (training webinars, peer exchanges, knowledge cafes etc.) in multiple languages and channels (Zoom, YouTube, Facebook, MailChimp etc.).
- Support the organizing and regular updating of the L-HUB's Digital Library (on Google Site) and its inventory, the L-HUB distribution list and the onboarding of CSO partners to the L-HUB as well as the promotion of learning and networking opportunities in the L-HUB Facebook group.
- Support the L-HUB team with the production of communication materials and contents to enhance the L-HUB's visibility among CSO partners, donors, and other audiences and support the L-HUB team resource mobilization efforts.
- Support the L-HUB team with creating and moderating a WhatsApp group for civil society members' engagement and interaction.
- Support the L-HUB team with tracking users' engagement of the L-HUB channels and use of L-HUB knowledge products (e.g., digital library analytics, webinars' facilitators surveys, etc).
The intern may also have the opportunity to attend ad-hoc in person meetings with CSOs and WHRDs and events related to WPS-HA in Geneva depending on availability/timeline.

Qualifications
Education:
- University studies in one of the following disciplines: international relations, gender studies, social and/or political science, international development, humanitarian, human rights, international law or other relevant subjects is required.
- Meet one of the following:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
- Have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within a two-year period of graduation; or
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program which is part of a degree programme and undertake the internship as part of the program requirements.
Language:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English are required;
- Excellent knowledge of at least French, Spanish or Arabic language is required; knowledge of another of these three languages is an advantage.
Renumeration:
Interns who are not in receipt of financial support from other sources such as universities or other institutions will receive a stipend from UN Women to partially subsidize their basic living costs for the duration of the internship.
