Tasks

As a Lead Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in crafting and executing data architecture strategies that align with our client’s business objectives. You’ll lead a team of talented data engineers and software developers, ensuring the delivery of high-performance data solutions that set the standard in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust data architecture strategies and solutions tailored to our customers’ business needs.
  • Lead and coordinate projects, guiding junior data engineers and software developers to deliver top-tier data solutions.
  • Analyze existing data infrastructures, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement.
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines that meet evolving business demands.
  • Uphold and evolve best practices in data architecture and software development to maintain our client’s competitive edge.
Requirements
  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role, ideally within an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data architectures, with hands-on experience in modern data platforms and technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Azure).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of version management tools like Git.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and preferably proficient in German (B2 level or higher).
