Job Description: We're looking for a proactive and technically skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's Solutions & Services Team in Mägenwil, Switzerland. With systems in over 12,000 hospitals and 800 million alerts processed annually, Ascom is shaping the future of patient care. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement IT-based healthcare solutions (Windows Server, virtualization, networks, firewalls, SQL). Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for deployed systems. Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and clinical consultants. Travel ~30% across Switzerland and Germany; occasional overnight stays. Participate in on-call duty every 8 weeks (24h). Must-Haves: 2-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching Windows Server administration and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) Firewall configuration and basic SQL troubleshooting Fluent German (daily work language); English for technical understanding Valid driving license Nice-to-Haves: Certifications like CCNA or MCNA Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments Hybrid
