Our client: Our client is a leading Swiss financial infrastructure provider that supports securities trading, financial data services, and cashless payment systems. They play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and stability of financial markets across Switzerland and Europe. Responsibilities: Planning & Coordination Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities across departments and external partners. Develop and maintain delivery schedules, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays or issues. Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries. Prepare shipping documents, invoices, customs paperwork, and compliance reports. Ensure proper documentation for inbound and outbound logistics. Forecasting and Analysis Collaborate with demanding planning teams to align stock availability. Analyze stock turnover lead times and product life cycles to optimize replenishment cycles. Provide regular reports on stock capacity utilization and vacancies Vendor & Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with internal teams (procurement, operations) to align logistics with project needs. Compliance & Safety Ensure logistics activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement best practices for handling, storage, and transport of goods. Financial &Reporting Support budgeting and forecasting related to asset acquisition and maintenance Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose solutions for optimization. Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and warehouse utilization We are looking for an experienced IT logisitic Manager to join us as an external expert for a 12 months contract. With most debit card transactions in Switzerland running thorough our system, this initiative is foundational to the future of digital payments in the country.
