Founded as Swiss-Mile, the company rebranded to RIVR in 2025 to better reflect its mission of driving the future of intelligent robotics.We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong IT Manager to lead the development of a scalable and secure IT infrastructure that will support our company's rapid growth. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who is not \"above\" buying and setting up laptops, but is also clever enough to automate or find efficient outsourcing solutions for such tasks. This role is global in scope, requiring a strong focus on communication and documentation to support our teams across three continents.ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure and Operations: Maintain and improve a scalable IT infrastructure, including networking (routers, gateways, switches, Wi-Fi), secure remote access (VPNs), and hardware procurement and inventorySoftware and Systems Administration: Administer and configure core corporate software and cloud services, manage user accounts and permissions, and oversee the ERP implementationEmployee Support and Onboarding: Provide technical support for all employees, lead IT onboarding for all new hires, and create comprehensive documentation for all IT processesAutomation and Collaboration: Automate repetitive IT tasks and collaborate with Hardware, DevOps, MLOps, and Cloud Engineers to ensure seamless integration between corporate IT systems and development environmentsQualificationsProven technical leadership with a hands-on, all-rounder mentalityExperience designing and maintaining scalable and secure IT infrastructureExperience with hardware procurement, inventory management, and basic troubleshooting (laptops, peripherals, network equipment)Demonstrated experience with IT security, including endpoint protection, access management, and security auditsProficiency in administering corporate software, cloud services, and user permissionsExcellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills to manage an international scopeBonus PointsExperience in a high-growth tech environmentProficiency in scripting and other automation tools to improve efficiencyExperience with ERP system managementA strong understanding of the needs of a research and development companyRIVR is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that values every perspective.
