pAt bKandou /b, we are redefining the economics of AI infrastructure. Our mission is to bdemocratise AI by significantly reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) /b of hardware systems
- a critical barrier to scalable adoption. /p pOur proprietary bMIMO-over-copper technology /b powers a bhigh-performance, chiplet-based AI memory fabric /b that is both bscalable and energy-efficient /b. Unlike traditional interconnects, our solution breduces power consumption significantly /b while preserving bhigh bandwidth and ultra-low latency /b
- unlocking unprecedented efficiency for AI training and inference at scale. /p pKandou's architecture is not just an incremental improvement
- it's a bfoundational shift /b in how AI hardware is built for the future. /p pbr/We are actively seeking a bCharacterization Engineer for our lab in Switzerland (Lausanne) /b /p h3Responsibility /h3 ul liLead end-to-end characterization of high-speed SerDes operating at symbol rates above 20 Gbaud /li liPerform jitter, eye-diagram, BER, and margin measurements across PVT /li liCharacterize full transmitter and receiver electrical parameters /li liPerform S-parameter, TDR and insertion loss measurements /li liCollaborate with IP architects, digital and analog design teams /li liDocumentation of test results and procedures /li liWrite and architect test scripts for automation in Python /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liProven experience characterizing silicon devices over PVT. /li liProven experience using lab equipment, such as: high-speed oscilloscopes, VNAs, and Spectrum Analyzers. /li liExperience defining test plans and test procedures /li liExperience with Python, or other object-oriented programming for test automation, data analysis and report generation /li liExperience with PAM modulation or multi-tonal modulation schemes is a plus /li liExperience in SerDes characterization is a plus /li liAt least 5 years of relevant work experience /li /ul h3Required Competencies /h3 ul liSelf-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility /li liGood communicator and team player, with experience working in cross-functional teams /li liStrong interest in characterizing high-speed analog circuits /li liSolid understanding or ability to learn SI concepts, modulation schemes, TX and RX fundamentals /li liExperience with Python or other object-oriented languages /li liExperience using high-speed oscilloscopes, VNAs, and Spectrum Analyzers /li liAbility to multitask in a high energy environment /li liSchematic entry or PCB design is a plus /li /ul h3Required Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE, or equivalent work experience /li /ul
