- Agentic AI /b to join their Data Management and Data Sciences organization in Basel. In this role, you will help drive the next generation of clinical data innovation by designing and deploying autonomous AI agents and multi-agent systems that accelerate clinical trial data processing, improve data quality, and support regulatory-compliant decision-making. /p pThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AI and software engineering professional to work at the intersection of advanced AI orchestration, cloud technologies, and highly regulated scientific environments. You will contribute to building scalable, cutting-edge solutions that enable faster delivery of critical medicines to patients worldwide. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and deploy agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as bLangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies /b to automate complex clinical data management processes. /li liBuild and maintain multi-agent systems where specialized AI agents collaborate to solve end-to-end clinical data challenges. /li liApply advanced prompt engineering techniques, including bChain-of-Thought, ReAct, and Reflection /b, to ensure reliable and high-quality outputs. /li liDevelop scalable applications and data pipelines that collect, process, and prepare scientific data within a cloud-based environment (AWS). /li liDeploy and maintain AI solutions using modern software engineering practices, including bCI/CD pipelines, containerization, testing, and monitoring /b.
Collaborate closely with Data Integrity, Quality, and Data Management teams to ensure AI-driven processes remain traceable, reproducible, and compliant with regulatory requirements. /liliDesign and implement robust bHuman-in-the-Loop (HITL) /b workflows for complex decision-making in regulated environments. /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of AI platforms, automation capabilities, and data-driven processes across the organization. /li /ul h3Must-Haves /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or higher in bComputer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Biomedical Informatics /b, or a related field. /li lib8+ years of experience /b delivering AI/ML solutions and b3+ years of experience /b in full-stack software engineering and data engineering. /li liStrong hands-on expertise in bPython /b and experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as bLangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex /b, or similar. /li liProven experience with modern data engineering concepts, including bSQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma) /b, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. /li liExperience deploying AI solutions on bAWS /b and working with bDocker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines /b, and observability tools. /li liStrong understanding of bmodel reproducibility, validation, interpretability, and governance /b within regulated environments. /li liExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liProfessional fluency in bEnglish /b. /li /ul pbDuration: /b 12-month contract /p pbStart Date: /b ASAP /p pbOn-site Requirement: /b Full-time on-site presence required. /p /p
