- 80% or more /p h3Position Summary /h3 pWe are looking for a hands-on Electronics Technician to join a small, experienced hardware team developing advanced UAV electronic systems. You will work directly with hardware engineers on prototype boards, RD drones, test setups, and the day-to-day operations of the hardware laboratory. /p h3The core of the role is practical: incoming inspection of PCBs, bench measurements, high-quality SMD soldering and rework, prototype modification, and structured validation reporting. Around this core, you will contribute to lab management, drone configuration, test bench development, and CAD/PLM support, with scope adapted to

your profile
and experience. /h3 h3Core Responsibilities /h3 h3Incoming Inspection and PCB Quality /h3 ul liPerform incoming inspection of prototype, pre-series, and production PCBs: visual inspection, electrical checks, and basic functional tests according to defined procedures. /li liApply proper ESD handling practices throughout inspection, assembly, and storage. /li liIdentify, document, and elevate non-conformities in coordination with Hardware Engineering and Quality, and support root cause analysis. /li /ul h3Electrical Measurements and Hardware Validation /h3 ul liPerform electrical measurements according to test plans defined with hardware engineers and write the associated structured test reports (conditions, results, deviations, conclusions). /li liUse standard laboratory instruments: multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, various probes, and, when required, spectrum analyzers. /li liExecute board bring-up, functional checks, integration, and performance validation of electronic boards against operational and design requirements. /li liContribute to qualification tests and environmental protection activities, including conformal coating/tropicalization of production boards. /li /ul h3Soldering, Rework and Prototype Modification /h3 ul liPerform high-quality SMD soldering following good workmanship practices, on small components and advanced packages (0201, 0402, SOT-23, DFN, QFN, etc.). /li liCarry out clean, reliable patches on prototype electronic boards. /li liAssemble and modify cables, harnesses, connectors, and small electronic subassemblies. /li liPerform battery pack assembly strictly according to defined procedures and lithium battery safety rules. /li /ul h3Hardware Laboratory and Workshop Management /h3 ul liKeep the hardware laboratory and workshop organized, clean, safe, and efficient. /li liManage workshop stock and lab consumables: ordering, tracking, and storage. /li liFollow up on calibration, maintenance, and availability of laboratory equipment. /li liOrder and track components for PCB prototyping and help prepare prototype BoMs. /li /ul h3Additional Responsibilities /h3 pDepending on profile and workload, the role also covers: /p ul liConfiguration, update, and maintenance of RD drones and hardware platforms, including hardware preparation for other teams (tests, demonstrations, validation campaigns). /li liDesign, build, and documentation of simple hardware test benches based on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms, and improvement of existing setups for repeatability and ease of use. /li liCreation and maintenance of electronic components in OrCAD/KiCad libraries (symbols, footprints, metadata) and support of the component database in the PLM system. /li liProduction of small mechanical fixtures and lab tools using 3D printing. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liTechnician ES/HF in electronics, electrical engineering, or industrial systems; or CFC in electronics/automation with solid hands‑on experience in an RD, production, or laboratory environment. /li liFrench BTS, DUT/BUT, or equivalent European technical diploma in electronics is equally relevant. /li li2+ years of practical experience in electronics, hardware validation, PCB assembly, or laboratory testing. /li liStrong hands‑on soldering, PCB modification, and bench diagnostic skills. /li liAbility to read schematics, BoMs, assembly drawings, and technical procedures, with a good understanding of basic analog, digital, and power electronics. /li liAbility to follow test procedures, record results accurately, and write clear technical reports. /li liStructured, precise, autonomous, and quality‑oriented working style. /li liLanguages: fluent French required; technical English is a plus. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in UAVs, robotics, aerospace, avionics, or embedded/industrial electronic products. /li liFamiliarity with IPC workmanship standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 / IPC
- ) or equivalent good soldering practices. /li liExperience with
