JobdescriptionFor our client, an international company based in Zurich, we are looking for a dedicated Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist (f/m/d).General Information: Location: ZurichStart Date: ASAPDuration: 7 months with the possibility of extension or a permanent position after the end of the temporary employment Working Hours: 100% Your Responsibilities: Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase ordersObtain and follow up order confirmations from suppliers, monitor delivery performanceMaintain SAP master data and perform updates to SAP MMCollaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and re-solve invoice mismatchesSupport the further development and optimization of purchasing processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (digitalization & automation of processes, etc.)Process quality cases (e.g. defects)Act as interface between production, sales, development, suppliers and quality managementYour Qualifications:Commercial or technical background, further training in purchasing or logisticsMinimum 3 years experience in operational purchasing or a similar roleSoftware Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and must have good experience with SAP (S/4 Hana), especially SAP MMExperience in an industrial sector, ideally within the MEM industryLanguages: Fluent English, German is only a plusResilient, independent, reliable and a strong team playerStructured problem-solving approachStrong communication skills and continuous improvement mindset
