IT Team Head – Business Intelligence and Data Science

Managerial role requiring great business and technical skills to manage an experienced team of 10+ specialists within the Data & Analytics SectorClosely collaborate with Stakeholders and Consumers across the divisions of the bankEnsure smooth delivery of business value for data consuming and/or data report requesting stakeholdersPromote the data-informed decision making throughout the company by partnering with different teams to set higher analytical standardsResponsible for reliable request management and delivery of cross-functional projects as determined by business priorities
Expert knowledge of data science and reporting tools on the market (predominantly Tableau, PowerBI, Dataiku)Strong knowledge of data systems (from classical DWH like Oracle/Informatica/SAP to data lakes on prem/in cloud)Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python, great understanding of visualization layer (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI), proficient in SQLKnowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)Knowledge of Banking data products, or financial sector in general, dealing with sensitive dataExcellent communication and leadership skills, ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative for the rest of the companySupport team members skills developmentResponsible for budget execution and forecast in own functional areaAdditional role as SME in day to day operations3-5 years leading a technical teamWorking knowledge of German is beneficiary, excellent command of EnglishHigher education (e.g. University, “Fachhochschule”) in computer science. Data science specialization is beneficiaryBanking background a strong plus
