Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Developer – Zurich – Hybrid – Competitive Salary + Competitive Package + Opportunity to work with an Established Swiss Enterprise Organisation

A well-respected Swiss Insurance company are seeking a Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join their team to elevate the value of their product and to implement modern cube solutions based on Microsoft technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to take that next step into a Senior position with a world-renowned Swiss Organisation.

This Swiss company, with a strong presence in Germany and various locations in Europe, including France and Luxembourg, focus on helping private and corporate clients prepare their financial future.

They offer institutional and private investors access to solutions for investment and asset management. With a strong presence in the DACH region, they have roughly 10,000 employees in total. A household name in Switzerland, over the years they have sponsored many sports teams and arenas.

About the Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Vacancy:

  • As a data engineer, you will implement modern cube solutions based on Microsoft technology (SSAS) and design dimensional data mart models using the Kimball method.
  • You will create meaningful reports/dashboards using PowerBI.
  • You have the opportunity to participate in the entire development chain in their data warehouse to participate (SSIS, TSQL, WhereScape, DataVault).
  • You support the analysis of the data and work closely with the various specialist departments.

Ideal Requirements for the Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) DeveloperVacancy:

  • You have completed a technical/university degree in business informatics or equivalent training
  • You already have at least a significant number of years of experience in the DWH/BI environment in larger companies, ideally experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Technologies SSAS and MDX as well as dimensional data modelling (Kimball)
  • You have several years of experience in Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, T-SQL, SSRS and PowerBI) and data modelling (DataVault is an advantage)
  • High level of initiative, ability appropriate to the level to communicate and implement, team player, good knowledge of the agile approach you have
  • Fluent written and spoken German as well as good knowledge of English round off your profile
