Today, we are rapidly expanding the capabilities of our autonomy stack and are growing our customer base and team faster than ever. /p h3The role /h3 pAs a Software Engineer in Flexion’s experienced infrastructure team you will build the platforms, tooling and infrastructure that power Flexion’s AI stack. This is a senior role with significant scope and ownership. You will work on a range of topics, taking projects from inception to completion, with collaboration and influence across the company. The infrastructure team owns Flexion’s state-of-the-art platforms, spanning in-house robotics frameworks for deployment, orchestration and networking, customer-facing applications, telemetry, SDKs, ML and data infrastructure, AI productivity tooling, and more. A core responsibility of this specific opening is to enable the growing scale and scope of our deployments by expanding our internal robot deployment tooling as well as our customer-facing tools and platforms. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild out Flexion’s tooling and platforms for a fast-growing number of robots and real-world deployments, including the applications, APIs and SDKs that customers use to manage, monitor, and integrate with Flexion. /li liLead projects end-to-end, from scoping and technical design through implementation, rollout, and long-term ownership. /li liShape technical direction and architecture decisions across teams through design reviews and code reviews. /li liPartner with research, robotics, and deployment teams to understand their needs and translate them into reliable platforms and tools. /li liRaise the bar on engineering practices, including testing, code quality, documentation, and system reliability. /li liHelp define and spread AI-assisted development practices across the company and contribute to Flexion’s AI development tooling. /li /ul ul liDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience) plus significant professional software engineering experience. /li liExperience working at a senior scope: owning production software projects end-to-end and influencing technical decisions across teams. Strong track record of delivering complex projects with significant impact. /li liProficiency in Python and significant experience with at least one compiled language (e.g., C++, Go, Rust). /li liStrong software architecture
