About Our Client I'm recruiting for a Senior Accountant position on a permanent basis in the Lausanne area. The role is for a fast-growing international company with a German legal entity, requiring strong expertise in German accounting standards and tax compliance. Job Description Take full responsibility for the accounting operations of a German entity, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial closings. Manage payroll and ensure accurate tax filings (VAT, corporate), strictly aligned with German accounting and tax regulations. Prepare financial reports, support planning activities, and drive improvements in accounting processes and internal controls. The Successful Applicant Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance under German GAAP (HGB). Fluent in German and English. Proficient in Excel and experienced with DATEV implementation. Holds a degree in accounting or finance. Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, autonomy, and strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage deadlines effectively. Experienced in setting up the accounting structure from scratch, continuously improving processes, and leading or supporting system implementations.
