About Our Client Our client is a small-sized organization operating in the not-for-profit sector, committed to making a positive impact. They are focused on delivering results through effective financial management and operational excellence. Job Description The key responsibilities of this Finance and Accounting Officer will be to : Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets for internal and external stakeholders Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations Support payroll processing and related accounting tasks Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly Collaborate with team members to streamline financial workflows Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making processes Contribute to the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with auditors as needed The Successful Applicant A successful Finance and Accounting Officer should have: Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field Proficiency in financial software and tools Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus Experience working in the NOT FOR PROFIT sector is advantageous A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of accuracy What's on Offer Our client offers you: A temporary opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in the not-for-profit sector A collaborative and supportive work environment The chance to gain valuable experience in finance and accounting operations Opportunities to work with a dedicated team making a social impact
