Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Expert to join the Sourcing Marketing. The Expert needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual, with proven experience within Sourcing Marketing.

The individual will have experience working with key global suppliers across the Marketing category..

Main responsibilities will include:

• Independent coordination and management of sourcing initiatives in the Marketing Services area (commercial, operational and legal aspects) in close collaboration with the client and relevant experts in a cross-functional Team
• Manage a challenging, broad role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment for multiple client accounts
• Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
• Define and execute negotiation strategies and secure value adding deals for our clients
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders internally and externally (clients and vendors)
• Control and execution of tenders (RfX) in close cooperation with internal and external partners
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
• Collaboration on global procurement strategies and implementation of regional requirements

Requirements

• University degree in marketing or business administration
• Ideally additional education in the field of procurement, (M)CIPS preferred
• 5-10 years Marketing Sourcing experience with strong knowledge in the sub-categories such as Media & MarTech, Brand, Creative & Content, Communication & Research, Live Marketing & Sponsoring, Marketing Material
• Service-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute actively in a dynamic environment
• Senior stakeholder management
• Secure command of e-sourcing tools (SAP Ariba, Jaggaer) of advantage
• Ability to lead negotiations on the client's behalf
• Good analytical and conceptual skills and quick understanding of complex content, figures and interfaces
• Understanding of technologies / processes / tools as well as contractual and legal aspects of Marketing
• Proactive, pragmatic, target oriented and assertive personality with strong communication, excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• High level of passion and commitment for the sourcing function
• Team player with high social competence and a winning personality
• Business fluency in German and English.
