In a few words

We are looking for a Data Scientist for a client in the public sector in Geneva.

Your mission

• The data scientist's mission is to collect relevant data, clean it and prepare it for analysis, then apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract useful information.
• The data scientist must develop data science and AI models using techniques such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language, Reinforcement Learning, or other advanced machine learning methods according to specific needs of the project.
• Data collection and analysis: collect data from various sources (automate data extraction, integration and updating) and analyze it to extract useful information.
• Exploratory data analysis: Explore data to understand its structure, trends and relationships, using statistical tools and OCSIN data visualizations
• Development of data science and AI algorithms and models: Design and develop data science and AI algorithms and models and improve the results.
• Evaluation of data science and AI models: Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and adjust models accordingly to improve their accuracy and generalizability.
• Integration and deployment of data science and AI models: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate the models into existing applications or systems. Ensure the efficient and secure deployment of models into production.
• Present and share results: Present results in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.

Your profile

Essential skills (5 years of experience and more):

• Very good knowledge of Python and Jupyter
• Very good knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, Conda, Scikitlearn libraries
• Very good knowledge of natural language processing
• Very good knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning
• Very good knowledge of data quality
• Good knowledge of the principles linked to the service-oriented organization (ITIL approach)
  • Good knowledge of database management technology
• Education: Diploma (Bachelor or equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar field

Important skills:

• Help businesses define realistic objectives based on their needs and data.
• Be autonomous in the creation and deployment of data science and AI algorithms and models
