About Our Client

Our client is a well-known organization, intersecting sciences, pharma and business. We are searching a scientific driven and business oriented senior leader as the new CEO.

Job Description

As the CEO, you will have the chance to:

Uphold and champion organization's foundational principles, heritage and purposeDirect the execution of the strategy, ensuring alignment with the organizational prioritiesOversee the planning, management, and successful delivery of all major events Foster close collaboration with the organization's Executive Committee and leadership Officers including the President, Secretary General, and TreasurerFoster and execute collaborative efforts with industry partners and medical associations Nurture growth, innovation and transformation initiatives, ensuring they deliver sustainable value for the organization and its membersProvide transformational leadership to staff, focusing on development, motivation, and ensuring an effective team structureLiaise with senior stakeholders in Committees, Working Groups, and Task Forces, ensuring synergy in collaborative effortsRepresent the organization with distinction, providing regular updates to the Board of Directors and producing an insightful annual report The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with:

More than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.More than 8 years of leadership experience as Chief Executive Officer, General Manager or other managerial role, also in a medical association, NGO or non-profit organizationHigh identification with the purpose of the organization as a leading society operating at the intersection of science, medicine and careKnowledge / networking in the European healthcare and life science sector (including its industry players, the regulatory context and key trends)A proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies and transformation programsAbility to lead and motivate diverse teams towards a common purposeEntrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen with broad experience in strategy, corporate development, business planning, project management and effective operationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders and partnersBroad knowledge of general management best practices across strategy, finance, controlling, HR, operations, governance, compliance and risk managementHighest professional standards, setting an exemplary standard for the entirety of the organizationSolid analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisionsDegree in Business Administration or related field; MBA or other advanced degreeExcellent proficiency in English, with an additional European language proficiencyWillingness to travel internationally What's on Offer
