UNISERS AG is a young, vibrant startup emerging from ETH Zurich, armed with revolutionary technology to tackle the biggest challenge in the semiconductor industry: contamination control. Having secured a $14 million seed investment led by Intel Capital, we are rapidly expanding our team to bring our groundbreaking technology to market as swiftly as possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Efficiently and accurately manage general accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, fixed asset and inventory accounting
- Oversee invoicing and expense reporting, control and process payment transactions, and reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare financial statements and management reporting, including analysis of financial performance to identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to budgeting, fundraising, liquidity planning, cost management, pricing, and revenue modeling
- Coordinate payroll accounting with HR and external payroll providers
- Prepare and file VAT and tax returns; serve as the point of contact for tax authorities and auditors
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a startup or small company
- Proficient in financial planning and reporting, VAT declarations, Swiss GAAP, and EU IFRS
- Knowledge of global financial regulations preferred
- Understanding of challenges faced by equipment manufacturing companies preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Abacus preferred, others are an advantage)
- Fluent in German and English
