About the teamIn this role you will work within the Heat-Not-Burn Business Planning team, supporting the Global Category team on financials, volumes & analytics.

Who we're looking for

Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Capacity to organize and prioritize work independently to meet changing requirements in high-paced environmentRoles & Objectives PMI is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to join our HnB Business Planning team for a six-month internship. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial & business planning and analysis within a dynamic and forward-thinking business unit. The intern will support the team in various planning, reporting, and analysis activities, contributing to the strategic decision-making process.
In this role you will work within the Heat-Not-Burn Business Planning team.

You will collaborate with colleagues across functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations & Commercial) to achieve best-in-class outcomes for the company.


The intern will work on the following topics:
oFinancial and Business analysis and Reporting:oPerform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. oSupport the development of financial models to project future performance.

oBudgeting and Forecasting:
oAid in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts for the Heat-Not-Burn business unit. oAnalyze budget submissions and assist in aligning them with strategic goals. oBusiness Planning SupportoCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for business planning. oSupport the development of business cases and financial projections for new initiatives. oAd-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support various business decisions. oAssist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
