Your role and responsibilities

  • Serve as Finance Business Partner to EL CTO as well as EL Division Technology Managers.
  • Assure high level quality related to APP, 5QRF and Actual reporting.
  • Review and analysis of monthly ABACUS reporting and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with Division CFOs and Division Technology Managers.
  • Focus on Technology Ownership related topics affecting CHTET in M&A activities.
  • Manage CHTET monthly closing on behalf of Electrification Business and be main speaking partner to CHTET Operations Manager to assure and continuously improve common R&D processes across all Business Areas.
  • Collaborate with CHTET Tax and legal responsible with regards to any agreements related to Electrification: ABB internal and external License Agreements, R&D Standard Frame Agreements, Third Party Cooperation Agreements.
  • Financial oversight for Electrification related Research Center activities.
  • Ensure high quality of financial data and business information, in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
  • Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
  • Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for their area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Controlling roles
  • Track record of execution and delivering results in global environment
  • Deep understanding of R&D accounting, customer funding & changes in A&RP, government funding, IP Ownership management
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders from different function/business
  • Fluent in English
