The Role

We seek a proactive and enthusiastic Learning and Development Specialist to join our L&D team. Reporting to the Learning and Development Lead, you will work closely with other L&D professionals and the broader Frontiers teams. You will design, deliver, and evaluate a variety of L&D programs, training, initiatives, and tools to ultimately support our employees to achieve their learning goals and to set them up for success in their roles.

What you will do

  • Design and deliver a variety of learning programs across Frontiers, which will include elements of blended learning, digital/E-learning, peer-to-peer sessions and workshops.
  • Evaluate organizational, department, and company development needs.
  • Consult and partner with a variety of stakeholders to define the learning expectations and objectives.
  • Plan and propose learning solutions to gain approvals from the L&D lead, Head of L&D, and content owners.
  • Write engaging training materials including assessments and quizzes, practice exercises, demonstrations, case studies, procedural steps, and opportunities for reflection.
  • Manage, review, and update existing content in line with best practices.
  • Support fellow L&D professionals to follow instructional design processes.
  • Promote the use of Frontiers design standards.
  • Track and report on the progress of learning activities.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning and development programs, using relevant data to revise and improve content and learner experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a Learning and Development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience of creating digital content in a variety of formats, with the ability to leverage digital tools to create a dynamic learning experience.
  • Strong knowledge of learning and design standards and practices to ensure that Frontiers' learning content is of the highest quality.
  • Ability to use learning technology and tools, desktop applications, and relevant knowledge tools. Knowledge of Articulate360 would be a plus.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to act independently.
  • Strong experience in project management.
  • Ability to analyse a variety of data to measure both the impact of current programs and set the direction of future activity.
  • Collaborative team player.
