Associate – Origination and Project Management

Our client is a reputable boutique Placement Agent based in Zug, Switzerland, specializing in connecting top-tier investment opportunities with discerning investors globally. With a focus on excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction, the firm has established itself as a trusted partner in the financial landscape.

They are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate, with a primary focus on Origination and Project Management within the Private Equity space. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating strategic relationships, managing projects, and contributing to the overall success of the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential investment opportunities within the Private Equity sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Fund of Funds, General Partners (GPs), and other industry participants.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, emerging sectors, and potential clients.
  • Support with the execution of placement mandates, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior team members to develop and implement project strategies.
  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Private Equity, with a focus on Origination and/or Project Management.
  • Proven experience in originating clients through a Fund of Fund, GP, or Placement Agent is essential.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in another European language is highly preferable.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
