Secondaries Associate

Our client, a prestigious boutique placement agent in Zurich, is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join their team as a Secondaries Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and evaluate potential secondary transactions, identifying lucrative investment prospects in the private equity market.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, fund managers, and other key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in the secondary market landscape.
• Provide expert guidance and advisory services to clients navigating the complexities of the secondary market, offering tailored solutions and insights to meet their unique investment objectives.
• Conduct thorough LBO (leveraged buyout) modelling, evaluating investment performance, risks, and potential returns with precision and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in private equity, investment banking, or related financial services. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Secondaries Investments, or Secondaries Advisory is needed.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Complete fluency in English is essential.
