Summary

Novartis is looking for someone to configure IT applications and design processes to support business Analytics within TRD. This role plays a key part in integrating strategic projects with other functions in TRD.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap assessment and define system design and configuration for better end user satisfaction.
  • Manage system configuration static master data in key applications and promote standardization across global/organization/site data.
  • Collaborate with system/process owners, contribute to system governance, and assess risk for changes.
  • Drive change in key applications as a project development lead in partnership with line functions and IT.
  • Take charge of URS, testing, and validation for key applications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, internal procedures, and GxP requirements.
  • Understand business processes and interfaces of key applications, fostering global harmonization across TRD.
  • Participate in the life-cycle management of key applications, coordinating with Dev IT and Line Functions for improvements.
  • Provide guidance and training to users as a subject matter expert, promoting best practices in key applications.
  • Support a culture of learning and collaboration across digitalization projects, embodying Novartis values and behaviors.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Technician or Bachelor/Master degree in Life Science or Information Technology. Proficient in English.
  • Experience in quality principles for drug development and GMP, with knowledge of regulatory expectations.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, along with project management experience in a GMP environment.
  • Technical and regulatory knowledge in pharmaceutical research and development.
  • Familiarity with IT systems in a GMP environment, such as eLN, GLIMS, SAP.

Desirable requirements:

  • Advanced degree in relevant science discipline and proficiency in IT tools.
  • Track record of leading interdisciplinary teams, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
