Could you be the full-time Bonding & Painting special process expert (f/m/d) in Villeneuve we're looking for?

Your Future Role

In Villeneuve, over 250 colleagues from 15 different countries work together to manufacture and maintain multiple units, locomotives, trams, and passenger cars from Switzerland and other European countries. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You'll report to Lionel Coffe, Methods, Facility & Planning Manager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We'll look for you to:

  • Contribute during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions associated to special processes
  • In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, find and implement repair solutions
  • Manage industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan
  • Define requirements and rules for associated tooling necessary to start production
  • Ensure deployment and validation of new processes in line with project planning
  • Qualify the product/process pair as well as industrial means to be put in place in line with the design

  • Engineering degree in chemical or material mandatory
  • A technical expert in the fields of painting and bonding
  • Frech and English read, written, spoken mandatory; German recommended
  • Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering
  • Ideally Training and Qualification as: EWF European Adhesive Engineer
