Product Owner Invest & Advice & Market Data

You will have the following responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and drive the Invest & Advice and Market Data product development roadmap together with product managers, business owners, data engineers and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of our Data Lake used for market intelligence and data analytics.
  • Lead the implementation of our portfolio management system (PMS) throughout our system landscape and with external providers.
  • Enhance and improve the current data solutions.
  • Help business and IT teams in all matters related to market and reference data.
  • Specify requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog of tasks related to building, optimizing and operating market data solution and the portfolio management system.
  • Validate plans and concepts with various stakeholders within the company.
  • Define, manage, and proactively drive various Epics in the asset management landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Translate high level business needs from your stakeholders into requirements that meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) standard by the development team, thereby making use of requirement engineering techniques as needed: prototyping, design sprints, process flow diagrams, user story mapping, writing of acceptance criteria or test cases.
  • Taking ownership of Epics with an end-to-end mindset: from planning it at the quarterly Big Room Planning with the dependent teams high level up to it's release to the production environment.
  • You will be contributing to the backlog of various development teams by providing them ready-to-work on business requirements fulfilling the Definition of Ready (DoR) standard of the teams.
  • Manage our internal user groups in cases of application related questions, troubleshooting or bug management, as well as internal education on new features.
  • In case of incidents, troubleshoot and resolve issues together with our infrastructure and software development teams.

What you bring along?

  • University Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, information systems or other related education.
  • Technical background, e.g. in software development.
  • Experience as a product owner in the area of asset management, banking, fintech, or ambition to step into such a role.
  • You are a caring, motivated, open-minded personality with strong analytical skills to recognize and solve problems efficiently.
  • Independent organizer, you can manage your own priorities and keep the overview of responsibilities of others in a project that you are leading.
  • You are able to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with software development and project management methodologies such as scrum is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Professional fluency in English is mandatory. German is a plus.
