As a Data Analyst Intern you take a front-seat role in advising SWISS' operations management. You will support running data projects, ad-hoc analyses and have the chance to get a glimpse of how we use and enhance the operational data landscape of a global airline.

  • Provide valuable data-driven insights supporting decision-making within SWISS' Operations & Steering team.
  • Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards.
  • Create insightful analyses to help quantify key drivers to optimize SWISS' operational performance.
  • Contribute to our operational data landscape & support automation.
  • Foster data democratization and self-service capabilities across the company.
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate data insights across various stakeholders from SWISS' Operations departments.

Requirements
  • Workload Specification: For this position, a 60%-100% workload is preferred.
  • HF diploma, Bachelor's, Master's students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor's students must have completed at least three semesters) in an analytical subject, e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics or related fields.
  • Knowledge of SQL coding, good command of at least one programming language (R or Python preferred).
  • Data science and/or data engineering background is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, yet a team-player with strong communication, and social skills.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills; competences in analysis and management presentations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and Excel.
