• Discovery, development and industrialization of innovative chemical transformations or new syntheses for Fragrance & Flavour ingredients.
• Transfer to production of new processes, economically viable, safe, sustainable and environment friendly.
• Collaboration with external specific partners.
• Perform literature and patent search for projects.
• Perform experimental work independently for the assigned projects.
• Monitor reactions and analyse products using classical analytical methods (GC, HPLC, NMR,...)
• Record all data in the Electonic LabNotebook with interpretation

• PhD in Chemistry with indepth knowledge of organic synthesis
• Additional professional experiences like postdoc or ideally industrial internship
• Handson experience in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis for industryrelevant projects, particularly catalytic hydrogenation and hydroformylation.
• Handson expertise in preparing, characterizing and using heterogeneous catalysts for preparative organic chemistry as an advantage.
• Handson experience in typical laboratory operations: reaction in autoclave, screening, scaleup, distillation, crystallization, various reaction and purification techniques using suitable laboratory equipment.
• Capacity to work independently, good organizational skills, priority and result oriented.
• Curious, openminded with excellent communication skills for successful teamwork.
• Fluent both in French and English.
