About the Team:

The Distribution and Payment team's primary objective is to assist airlines and other industry players in transitioning to a modern retailing approach, utilizing Offers and Orders, alongside recent IATA standards like NDC and ONE Order. This involves engaging stakeholders, providing implementation support, and offering industry tools. The Airlines Retailing Maturity (ARM) index enhances visibility into the retailing maturity of airlines and their partners, focusing on technical capabilities, partnerships, and value captured in the journey towards modern airline retailing. As this tool evolves with industry maturity, IATA leverages ARM index insights to monitor industry transformation progress and identify areas where assistance is most needed.

A Day in the Life:

  • Execute operational processes within the ARM index, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation and process workflows
  • Analyze data to support airline retailing activities
  • Develop, document, and update data visuals (Power BI dashboards) to support IATA's airline retailing initiatives
  • Arrange meetings and discussions with subject matter experts and ARM index participants as required
  • Review and proofread documentation
  • Support ad-hoc projects and team initiatives when necessary

Desired Qualifications:

  • University graduate with Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in program, project, and/or product management
  • Proficiency in data analytics
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools, including Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages; understanding XML message formats and related technologies is a bonus
