Global HR Business Partner

Reporting to the CHRO, this position will oversee the HR strategy for a Business Segment or Function at a global level. As the Global HRBP, you will serve as a mentor and HR specialist, focusing on strategic HR alignment throughout the employee journey, from onboarding to retirement, including talent management and workforce planning to support business growth aspirations. Working closely with Segment and Function management teams, you will shape and execute the HR agenda with a strong emphasis on outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust plan for the client groups in line with Global HR and business objectives, covering key areas such as talent management, performance evaluation, recruitment, and retention strategies. Apply global processes effectively.
- Create and implement staffing strategies, establish talent pipelines, and engage with potential candidates proactively.
- Facilitate and administer annual HR activities and initiatives related to Performance & Reward, Learning & Development, and Culture & Engagement. Support global projects like system implementations and employee surveys.
- Provide assistance to employees across different locations and countries within the segment and function. Work closely with Site HR teams, offering guidance on company policies.
- Collaborate with managers to address various HR issues including recruitment, retention, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Enhance the company's employer brand and value proposition to attract top talent consistently.
- Monitor and enhance HR efficiency by measuring and reporting key performance indicators.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar international HR role, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Experience in the medical devices sector is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leading transformations or managing projects within a modern HR setup in a global context.
- Proficient in employment law, compensation practices, organizational planning, employee relations, safety regulations, and labor relations.
- Capable of understanding and operating effectively in diverse cultural environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, proactive work approach, and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to cultivate professional relationships and establish trust across all levels of the organization.
- Positive and proactive attitude, adept at handling uncertainties and driving initiatives forward.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English and German.
