UMS SKELDAR, a joint venture between Saab and UMS AERO Group, is headquartered in Möhlin near Basel in Switzerland, with twin manufacturing facilities in Switzerland (Möhlin) and Sweden (Linköping).

With 150 employees and two major products in our current portfolio we aim to be the number one in our chosen market areas as well as a provider of choice across civilian and defense markets requiring dependable and affordable systems.

We are growing fast and to strengthen our team we are looking for a new Site Quality Manager, whose role will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and further develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and corresponding certifications
  • Maintain, improve and control all QMSrelevant documentation
  • Drive and enforce the QMS and its process throughout all UMS subsidaries
  • Implement the companyspecific quality policy and quality objectives (internal and customers)
  • Plan and perform internal and external audits
  • Coordinate and advise all departments to ensure that the processes achieve the intended results
  • Control and monitor internal KPI
  • Monitor, drive and further develop the continous improvement process
  • Be an integral part of the Fault Management System as well as the Issue / Change Review Boards, drive technical investigations
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Drive the improvement and strengthening of our Design Assurance System
  • Train company employees in the field of QMS and related processes

Qualifications:

  • Technical education or degree in the field of aviation
  • A minimum of three years quality management experience in an EN9100/AS9100 environment
  • Solid knowledge of and experience of working with relevant EASAregulations (Part21, Part145, Part-M)
  • Knowledge of the AQAP2110 standard advantageous
  • Experience as auditor (e.g., ISO 19011)
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment (MS-Office)
  • Experience in AMOS advantageous
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Selfdriven attitude for problem solving skills, continuous improvements, with good interpersonal communication skills

Location / General:

  • Work full time (hybrid possible) at our Swiss Office in Möhlin (near Basel), Switzerland
  • Start immediately, considering possible notice.
