We are recruiting for a Brand and Customer Manager (BCM) who will be a dedicated resource in the Chronic Cough Customer Business Line and report directly to the Franchise Lead (Anesthesia and Chronic Cough). The work location will be Lucerne, Switzerland.

In this role, you will have primary responsibility for the leadership of the marketing and promotional efforts supporting selected therapy indication(s). You will closely collaborate with the cross-functional team (sales, market access function and others) to implement the Business Line

Strategy. Additionally, you will work together with Medical Affairs to provide critical customer insight and a coordinated approach to the implementation of promotional and non-promotional field-based activities.

Our team supports our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems in meeting the goals of the patients in their communities.

Main Responsibilities:

Accountable for the successful development and execution of the marketing strategy and tactics to achieve performance across selected therapy indication(s):

  • Analyze the local market and identify commercial opportunities; allocate resources and manage budgets
  • Develop and refine the brand's strategic direction, ensuring a cohesive approach across all customer touchpoints
  • Adapt Regional Marketing Strategy for the Brand locally and provide input on local medical activities
  • Understand and articulate the Patient and Customer pathway and execute Customer segmentation and targeting
  • Develop Customer segment plans and integrate them with individual Customer plans
  • Work with local market research to develop local segmentation and determine segmentation strategy based on input from all groups interacting with customers
  • Share and implement best practices across the unit
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach across digital channels
  • Utilize data analytics and customer insights to optimize digital marketing strategies and improve customer engagement
  • Develop country plans – marketing tactics, Channel Mix and resources sections
  • Provide forecasting and track local initiatives and utilization of local promotion budgets (oversight)
  • Utilize materials developed by the global or regional organizations and personalize the offering to the customer based on segment importance
  • Search for new and innovative ways of interacting with the Customer, using digital as part of their interactions with, and offerings to, the Customer
  • Understand the Customers' channel preferences and develop and deliver innovative programs and services in line with Customer needs
  • Integrate channels to achieve the optimal channel mix for customers while seeking synergies and efficiencies

Stakeholder Management Responsibilities:

  • Leverage previous sales or stakeholder management experience to ensure effective stakeholder management and develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), particularly pulmonologists and allergologists
  • Develop strategies for major accounts; track, monitor progress, and adjust activities accordingly
  • Ensure alignment between Customer Plans and Country Integrated Medical Scientific Strategy (Medical SLs)
  • Develop Customer segment plans and integrate them with individual Customer plans
  • External orientation with a demonstrable ability to establish KOLs and other relevant stakeholder relationships
  • Focus the organization on delivering value for customers, including patients, by fully understanding and meeting their needs

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree; MBA preferred
  • At least 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or related business experience
  • Experience in the cough market preferred
  • Pharmaceutical launch experience, preferably in cough or pulmonary area preferred
  • Marketing experience, and/or Government Affairs and Medical Affairs experience is a plus
  • Omnichannel Marketing experience is strongly mandated
  • Previous sales experience is appreciated, preferably with pulmonologists or allergologists
  • Business knowledge of the Swiss life science market
  • Demonstrated expertise in partnering with customers, building sustainable relationships, and leveraging customer insights to drive solutions and strategies that address previously unmet needs
  • Results orientation with a proven track record of success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales/quantitative targets and qualitative objectives
  • External orientation with a demonstrable ability to establish relationship with KOLs and other relevant stakeholder
  • Ability to influence and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environment
  • Analytic ability to evaluate performance data and refine deployment strategies
  • Focus the organization on delivering value for customers, including patients, by fully understanding and meeting their needs
  • Actively listen and seek to understand differing perspectives working together to achieve the common goals of the team
  • Fluent German and English (both verbal and written); French language skills are advantageous
