Join our dynamic and growing Macquarie Commodities Trading Geneva team as a Physical Operations expertise.

Our Team consists of Traders, Risks Analyst, Middle office and Operations, who support our business globally on physical trading activities to ensure that the key operational risks are being effectively managed, monitored and executed.


What role will you play?


Use your physical commodities trading operations knowledge and experience as a physical operator to manage all Petroleum related vessel, barge, pipeline and storage operations, including blending, inventory control and logistics.

You will also actively engage with external counter-parties; vessel and barge companies, inspectors, agents and internally with commercial, compliance, risk group and finance team.

You will be responsible for managing the supply chain of all physical Oil related movements from origin to destination. Assist with reviewing and drafting of commercial contract and letter of credits.

What you offer

  • At least 5 years work experience in a position related to physical commodities trading, preferably in Petroleum and Petrochemicals scheduling or logistics.
  • High achievement drive, with strong resilience and tenacity.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and comfortable interpreting and balancing commercial issues within a risk framework.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead conversations regarding anticipated issues and processes.
