To develop our consulting offer and support one of our clients, we are looking for a talented Head of Software.

Missions :

• Set the vision for embedded Software (Real-time, CNC, HMI, and connectivity), guide architecture, aiming for standardization, configurability, reduced product costs, and shortened time to market.
• Analyze the current software situation and leverage cutting-edge computer science knowledge to dictate future development guidelines.
• Drive the team to resilient software and lead the transformation to an agile organization.
• Lead the cluster team to achieve the mission, objectives, and roadmaps, utilizing methodologies and tools like Scrum, DevOps, and Kanban for efficient and effective software development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, emphasizing continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ensure continuous training and skill/competency development of the team, keeping them up-to-date with the latest technological trends to ensure performance without compromising reliability and robustness.
• Handle recruitment, appraisals for the cluster team.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the alignment of software solutions with business objectives.
• Monitor and report on team progress and performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards, with a focus on robustness and performance for customers.
• Collaborate and align with different departments and stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet business needs.

Profile :

• Engineering degree in Software. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Strong Experience in Software architecture concepts, development processes, and leading technical teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory. Proficiency in Italian, German or French is a plus.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities, innovative mindset, proactive attitude, resilience to stress, and an ability to drive change and manage creativity.
