1. Sales and P&L management: manage the sales activities of the S+S product portfolio in general with main focus on Consumables and Success Packs (service contracts). Be directly responsible for the P&L, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve the financial objectives set by the group. Provide timely reporting of required KPIs along with in-depth analysis of deviations.

2. Promotion and CRM (NCIS) management: coordinate and implement promotional activities launched globally as also proactively develop local actions to generate sales growth. Ensure prompt leads follow-up in NCIS coming from these marketing activities as also a punctual management of the sales opportunities. Monitor that customers data are regularly managed and updated in NCIS by the sales team to ensure a high level of information in our database. Contribute in the continuous improvement of NCIS as a tool by providing in a proactive way feedback and input to the S+S central Functional Department.

3. Customer Relationship: keep strong relationships with customers trough regular visits and by setting up an open and timely communication with the S+S team in order to promptly respond to their needs.

4. Team management: define, supervise and motivate the S+S Sales team to ensure high level performance in order to achieve the sales targets (top and bottom line) as also contribute in building customer satisfaction.

5. Team development: paying attention to the professional development of team members as well as personnel management issues. Taking care of the team’s training to guarantee that expertise and competence are at the highest levels.

6. Service + Success business development: implementing global strategies for S+S business expansion and identify local opportunities for their even more effective implementation.

Contribute in close collaboration with the local Head of Service + Success on a business plan development to achieve the five-year strategic growth plan provided by the headquarters.

7. Continuous Improvement: Monitoring and optimizing sales processes to maximize both top and bottom line of the whole S+S activities and to increase customer satisfaction. Proactively collaborate with other departments of GF Machining Solutions by providing feedback from the market to improve the S+S portfolio and contribute to the quality development of GF Machining Solutions’ machine tool products and digital solutions.

Ensuring the implementation and use of tools and work processes coming from the S+S central Functional Department to obtain group synergies and efficiencies.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a sales department with a leadership position, preferably in a technical or manufacturing context.
- Small to Medium sized-team management experience.
- Proven experience in Sales development and in spotting growth opportunities.

Language: (+required level):

- English (fluent is mandatory)
- German (good level)
- French and Italian are an advantage.

IT skills:

- PMS Office
- SAP
- Microsoft Dynamics
- An aptitude to easily learn the use of new tools and experience with the world of IT are essential.
