About IMPACT Initiatives

IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization manages multiple initiatives, including:

  • The REACH Initiative
  • The PANDA Initiative
  • The AGORA Initiative

The IMPACT team consists of specialists in data collection, management, analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). IMPACT was established through the collaboration of Acted, and these two organizations have a strong partnership that allows IMPACT to benefit from ACTED's operational support.



Job Opening: Projects and Funding Officer at IMPACT Initiatives

Position: Projects and Funding Officer

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: Amman, Jordan

Country profile:

Following recent events, the humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has significantly worsened. The IMPACT Initiatives is planning various research activities to aid in the humanitarian response in the region.

Responsibilities of the Projects and Funding Officer:

The Projects and Funding Officer will report to the IMPACT Country Representative (CR) and be responsible for supporting the identification, development, and management of grants in oPt. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Positioning and Fundraising activities
  • Strategy development and Fundraising efforts
  • Building External relations with donors and partners
  • Managing grant proposals, contracts, and implementation
  • Monitoring and evaluating project progress and reporting
  • Developing partnerships for operational and technical support
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in relevant discipline
  • 2 years of experience in Project Development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Experience in field work is a plus
  • Fluency in English
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges between 2'040 CHF and 2'160 CHF gross monthly, along with additional benefits like living allowance, accommodation, health insurance, flight tickets, annual leave, and more.
