Field Technician - Elevator Installation
Company:Join the team at Otis, the world's leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
Responsibilities:- Receive and transport materials to work or storage areas
- Assemble elevator components according to installation phases
- Inventory and control necessary tools and safety equipment
- Install elevator elements according to company guidelines
- Manage on-site work times based on projects
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly following safety procedures
- Complete electrical wiring installations
- Conduct equipment inspections
- Update management on installation progress and any issues encountered
- Commission new equipment
- Ensure compliance with company standards and policies
- Maintain confidentiality of provided information
- Stop work if safety is compromised
- Installation hours
- Efficiency
- Score FPA
- Certification in mechanical, electro-mechanical, or equivalent with experience in elevator industry
- Fluency in French, knowledge of English is a plus
- Valid Swiss driving license required
