Join Our Team: Our client is a top company in Switzerland specializing in information systems management. Comprised of dedicated IT professionals, they help clients focus on their core business with their expert services. We are currently seeking an experienced individual for the role of Oracle Database Consultant.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Install, maintain, manage, and patch Oracle Appliance on bare-metal servers with virtualization tech.
    • Handle database migrations in on-premises and cloud environments.
    • Utilize Ansible for large-scale patching.
    • Implement and configure high availability databases like Data Guard and RAC.
    • Propose innovative solutions to cater to client requirements.
    • Manage database backups, restoration, data replication, and performance optimization.
    • Audit licensing and provide user support.
    • Create shell, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts and technical documentation.

Your Profile:

  • Key Requirements:
    • Degree in IT or related field.
    • Hands-on experience with Oracle database servers.
    • Proficiency in Oracle RMAN backup and restore.
    • Familiarity with Oracle tuning and high availability concepts.
    • Team player with strong communication skills.
    • Fluency in German and English.
    • Knowledge of Apex and PL/SQL.
