Overview:
Technical Platform Management:
Core responsibilities:
- Infrastructure & technical product engineering, integration and management
- Client multitenancy management and technical support
- Lifecycle (EoL, upgrade) management and coordination
Must have skill set:
Big Data Platform Infra, Hands on experience in Cloudera CDH and CDP Platform, Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, HBase, Impala, Hue, Spark, Sentry, Ranger, Hive, Kafka, YARN and Zookeeper,
Multi-tenancy architecture and implementation, RDBMS concepts, Agile methodology, Unix and shell scripting, Data analysis, Should be able to work independently.
Good to have skill set:
Python, Scala, Java,Kafka, CSS, Performance Engineering Tuning skills (Impala, Spark, Hive), Azure Cloud
Working experience:
- Overall IT experience of 10 years across Application Development and working experience with traditional RDBMS
- At least 5+ years of working experience in Bigdata Platform Management or working in Bigdata Solution Architecture.
- Expertize on defining big data architecture standards, governance and establish best practices
- Minimum 1 years of experience in handling CDH to CDP migration.
- Expertize on Big data lake design, multi tenancy framework setup and implementation.
- Expert level knowledge and 4+ years of experience in Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, HBase, Impala, Hue, Spark, Sentry, Ranger, Hive, Kafka, YARN and Zookeeper
- Expertize on Multitenancy architecture and implementation (in DEV and Admin perspective)
- Expert knowledge on the capabilities of YARN/Impala resource management
- Take endtoend responsibility of the Hadoop life Cycle in the organization.
- Detect, analyze and remediate performance problems.
- 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Java or Unix, Shell Scripting and eager to pick up new programming languages on the go
- Ability to automate manual mundane tasks through scripting and building automation solution.
- The ability to function within a multidisciplinary, global team. Be a selfstarter with a strong curiosity for extracting knowledge from data and the ability to elicit technical requirements from a nontechnical audience
- Data Concepts (ETL, near/realtime streaming, data structures, metadata and workflow management)
- You have deep understanding of Dev ops and Agile software development methodologies
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to present deep technical findings to a business audience
- Handson experience working in an agile environment
- Performance Engineering Tuning skills ( Impala, Spark, Hive) a plus.
- Azure Cloud experience is a plus.
