Accounts Payable Analyst

The Accounts Payable Analyst for Processing plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of financial and administrative operations. The primary responsibilities include accurately recording all accounts payable transactions, handling tasks such as invoice posting, reconciliations, forecasts, and KPI reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately processing purchase orders and non-purchase order invoices within specified time frames.
- Strict adherence to accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Routing invoices for approval and resolution.
- Maintaining thorough and accurate files and documentation in line with company policies.
- Contributing to team efforts by achieving relevant results as required.
- Providing support to other areas of the business when needed, including offering day-to-day assistance to various functional areas within GBSO.
- Reconciling vendor statements.
- GR/IR account clean-up and troubleshooting.
- Adhering to all internal control procedures to maintain precise financial records.
- Reviewing and analyzing the AP day-to-day process to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Building effective relationships with internal departments, vendors, and understanding the importance and impact on both parties.
- Interacting with auditors, accountants, and management as necessary to provide department information and address specific AP requests.
- Performing any other assigned duties.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in advanced English (both spoken and written).
- Technical High School certification in Accounting or an advanced Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the Accounts Payable cycle for the US.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ERP SAP.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Demonstrated personal accountability for decisions and actions.
- Experience with Invoicetrack is a plus.
